Last checked: October 22, 2026. What FeetFinder's own policies say about seller ID checks, how long approval is commonly reported to take, why it fails and what to do next.
You've signed up to sell on FeetFinder, uploaded your ID, and now you're waiting. Or worse, your verification didn't go through. Either way, you want to know how long it should take, what went wrong and what to do next.
This guide sets out what FeetFinder's own policies say about seller verification: its Age Verification Policy, Terms of Service and Appeals Policy, checked on October 22, 2026. FeetFinder doesn't publish an official approval time or a list of rejection reasons, so anything beyond its policies is labelled commonly reported. We haven't gone through FeetFinder's verification ourselves. Policies change, so please check the official site before you rely on anything here.
This is a guide for adults using their own valid ID. It isn't a way around verification. For a broader look at the platform, see our FeetFinder review.

What FeetFinder Requires From Sellers
The Age Verification Policy
FeetFinder's Age Verification Policy, effective January 30, 2026, says you "must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher) to create an account, purchase Content, or act as a Seller."
For sellers, it says all sellers must complete a full identity and age verification process, which may include submitting a valid, government-issued photo ID and a selfie or biometric scan for match verification, where permitted by law. Sellers must also confirm that anyone else shown in their content is of legal age and that records are kept.
Who Sees Your ID
The same policy says FeetFinder works with independent, regulated age-verification providers. It adds: "Where possible, we use providers that return only a 'pass/fail' response and do not share your underlying ID documents with FeetFinder." That's worth knowing if you're nervous about sharing ID. The check is done by a specialist provider, and buyers never see your documents.
What The Terms Of Service Add
FeetFinder's Terms of Service, effective September 30, 2026, add a few rules that affect verification:
- Accurate information: "It is a condition of your use of FeetFinder that all the information you provide on FeetFinder is accurate."
- Location-based checks: depending on where you live, "you may be required to verify your age and identity through one or more age verification methods."
- No false ID: submitting false identification or using "another person's identity" is "strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement."
- Co-creators: "Each additional depicted person detected by our verification system must complete the joint-account identity and age-verification process before the Content can be posted."
Verification For Payouts
Passing the age check isn't always the end. The Terms say FeetFinder "may require identity, address, and beneficiary verification (including KYC/KYB/AML checks) before enabling or releasing payouts and on an ongoing basis." It may also withhold or freeze seller earnings, or suspend payout methods, while verification is pending. So make sure your payout details match the identity you verified.
Tax Forms
FeetFinder's former Seller Agreement asked US sellers for a W-9 and sellers elsewhere for a W-8BEN. That page now redirects to a different agreement, so we treat this as commonly reported. Follow whatever forms the sign-up flow asks for. If you're in the US, the IRS explains what Form W-9 is for. The current Terms say sellers are "solely responsible for their own Tax affairs."
How Long Does FeetFinder Verification Take?
FeetFinder doesn't publish an approval time on the pages we checked. Sellers and third-party guides commonly report anything from a few hours to about 48 hours, and some cite a policy allowing up to five days. We couldn't confirm any of these figures on an official page.
A few practical points:
- Plan for a few days. Don't schedule a launch around approval you don't have yet.
- Check your email, including spam, for updates or requests.
- Don't keep resubmitting while a check is pending. It's commonly reported to slow things down.
- Get ready while you wait. Prepare your first photos and listings. Our FeetFinder app guide explains how to use the site on your phone.

FeetFinder doesn't publish an approval time, so plan for a short wait.
If you'd like to start the process, you can open an account on the official site below. Check the current plan prices and fees there before you pay.
Why FeetFinder Verification Gets Rejected
FeetFinder doesn't publish a list of rejection reasons. The causes below are commonly reported by sellers and verification guides. They're not an official list.
1. Unreadable Photos
Blurry or dark images, glare from a flash or window, and cropped corners are the most commonly reported causes. If the provider can't read your name, date of birth and expiry date, the check can fail.
2. An Expired Document
Expired IDs are a commonly reported reason for failure. FeetFinder's policy asks for a "valid" ID, so check the expiry date before you upload.
3. Details That Don't Match
If the name or date of birth you entered doesn't match your ID, verification may fail. The Terms require accurate information. Use your legal details for verification. Your public seller name can still be a stage name.
4. A Poor Selfie Match
If a selfie or biometric scan is requested, sellers report failures when the face is hidden, the lighting is poor or the photo is edited. Take it live, with no filters.
5. Location-Based Requirements
The Terms say checks can vary by location. If you're asked for an extra step, complete it. Don't try to get around an age check with a VPN or proxy; it breaks the purpose of verification and can put your account at risk.
6. Someone Else In Your Content
If verification has flagged another person in your content, the Terms say they must complete the joint-account process before the content can be posted.
How To Improve Your Chances
- Use a valid, unexpired government photo ID
- Take photos in soft daylight, with no flash and no glare
- Keep all four corners in frame and make every line readable
- Match your details exactly to your ID
- Take selfies live, with no filters or edits
- Use a payout method in your own name
- Submit once, then wait for a reply
What To Do If Verification Fails
- Read the message. It may say what needs fixing.
- Fix the issue. Retake photos or use a different valid ID.
- Resubmit once through the official site.
- Contact support. FeetFinder's policies give hello@feetfinder.com as the contact address. Include your account email and what you changed.
- Don't open a new account. Creating another account with the same ID is commonly reported to cause more problems.
Appealing A Decision
If FeetFinder suspends or restricts your account, or withholds earnings, its Appeals Policy, effective September 21, 2026, sets out a process:
- Email appeals@feetfinder.com
- Include your account URL or username, the URL of any content involved and "detailed reasons" why you believe you comply with its rules
- File "within six months of the date of the Decision"
The policy says "all appeals undergo a human-led review." FeetFinder can grant, partly grant or deny an appeal. The policy doesn't list a verification failure as an appealable decision, so start with support if your check simply hasn't gone through.
Beware Of Fake Verification Requests
Scammers target new sellers who are waiting for approval. Commonly reported tricks include:
- A "buyer" or "agent" asking you to pay a fee to get verified
- Messages asking for photos of your ID outside the platform
- Links to lookalike login pages
FeetFinder's policy says verification is done through its own providers. Don't send ID to anyone in messages, and don't pay anyone to "speed up" approval. The FTC's guide on recognizing and avoiding phishing scams advises contacting a company directly using a website you know is real. For buyer scams, see our guide to feet pic scams. If you also sell on OnlyFans, our guide to OnlyFans verification rejected covers that platform's process.

Never send ID photos to buyers or "agents" in messages. Verification happens through the platform.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does FeetFinder verification take?
FeetFinder doesn't publish an approval time on the pages we checked. Sellers commonly report anywhere from a few hours to about two days, and some guides mention up to five days. Check your email and spam folder for updates.
What ID does FeetFinder accept?
FeetFinder's Age Verification Policy asks sellers for a valid, government-issued photo ID and may also ask for a selfie or biometric scan where the law allows. Use an unexpired original document.
Why was my FeetFinder verification rejected?
FeetFinder doesn't publish reasons. Commonly reported causes include blurry or cropped photos, glare, an expired ID, details that don't match your ID and a poor selfie match.
Does FeetFinder see my ID?
According to its Age Verification Policy, FeetFinder works with third-party verification providers and, where possible, uses ones that return only a pass or fail result without sharing your ID documents with FeetFinder. Buyers don't see your documents.
Can I appeal a FeetFinder decision?
FeetFinder's Appeals Policy lets you appeal decisions such as account suspensions or withheld earnings by emailing appeals@feetfinder.com within six months. For a verification that simply hasn't gone through, contact hello@feetfinder.com first.
Do I need to verify again later?
Possibly. FeetFinder's Terms say it may require identity, address and beneficiary checks before releasing payouts and on an ongoing basis.
Final Thoughts
FeetFinder's verification is a firm requirement, and its published policies are clearer than many platforms' about who handles your ID. The parts it doesn't publish, such as approval time and rejection reasons, are where most sellers get stuck. Use your own valid ID, take clear photos, match your details, wait patiently and contact support rather than opening new accounts. And check the official site for the latest process.
